Wine made from "chicken-claw grain", a Tibetan speciality

Published on 22 Oct 2013 | Medog, a county in the southeast of the Tibet Autonomous Region, was the last without road-links in China. With the opening of the Galung La tunnel at the end of 2010, Medog welcomed in a new era. Some local entrepreneurs are placing their hopes on a unique alcoholic drink called "chicken claw wine" made in the region, to help put Medog on the map.
